So you have made it to the description, so here's what really happened (my thought process when buying this place): I bought this property back in 2023, right after a business trip I flew back from Sabah and I was notified about this property for viewing at Sunway Geo and I made the trip over to the showroom to view the place and have some more information about the place. Standard stuff. Here's where the interesting part comes about TLDR, I only viewed one place and I didn't even compare with other properties around the area. The night of the viewing, I went out with someone who I was seeing then (now my gf) and she had just bought a property as well. Me being competitive and not wanting to lose, I was like "Hmm okay around RM500psf and around RM2.7k - RM2.8k (including maintenance). I cannot lose out, I made the booking the very next day... Probably the easiest sale in that agents life hahah btw great agent Whyte, super helpful and also now helping out with my renovations and stuff (I'll have a full breakdown of that in another video) But fast forward to 2025, I have gotten my keys. I would say I have no regrets (maybe for now), but my personal opinion is that as a young adult there will never be a "RIGHT" time or that you are fully "READY" to buy a property. As long as you 1. Know what the goal of this property is for (Stay or Rent) BE VERY CLEAR ABOUT THIS 2. Run the numbers, don't buy something that you cannot afford or over leverage or extend yourself 3. Know what you are getting into and what is the exit strategy Then you will have more than 50% of the answer whether or not to purchase the property.
