American Woman - The Guess Who. Awesome Solo of the Day... (and how to play it!)

Ok, here's what I'm doing with Awesome solo of the day going forward, starting with this video. I've gone back to January of 1970, and had a look at which prominant albums were released that month. From these I grabbed what I felt was an awesome solo and then learned it for this video series. For January of 1970 it just happened to be American Woman by The Guess Who. I'm gonna have a look at Feb 1970 to pick my next awesome solo, so on and so forth. 70's classic rock guitar has been very much the focus of my channel as of late, so this should be a fun trip. Looking forward to it. Hope you follow along and enjoy it. Cheers, KDA Edit: initially played this over a backing track but got nailed with a copyright block worldwide. removed the backing track and just played the rytyhm under the solo myself and all was good. however the tone sounded sooo much better with full band behind it. without, it sounds a bit thin. so when I say in the video that I nailed the tone, that was over backing track. solo on its own doesn't sound nearly as good tone wise.
