My Modernised Moulton F Frame 1964

This Moulton has plenty of alterations:- Internal cable routing, straightened and shortened front forks ( enabling short drop modern brakes), re- shaped rear drop outs and strengthened forks (again enabling short drop brakes use), docking of the frame and brazing over the frame hole, smoothing of the riveted joints on the cross bar, resizing the head badge, removal of brazen on cable loops and rack bosses, widening front and rear forks to accept 11 speed Shimano hubs. (All completed by myself after learning how to braze on this bike) All the paintwork and transfers (decals) completed and created by myself in my garage. The wheels are radially spoked front and rear and built by myself after using online spoke calculators. The components were all sourced on EBay and only the NEW items are the rims, spokes, tyres and tubes, chainring (70 tooth) and chain. All other items were second hand. It rides superbly and the reduced rake enables swift and secure steering. The swirl dipped paint job attracts the most attention and the internal cables are third after people get over the chainring (it only gives the same gear inches as my road bike, people forget it's on 16" wheels). Very few comment on the more subtle things. Eventually everyone comments on the radial rear wheel👍🚴🏻💯
