In this vlog, we hit the town of Marrakech for a night of traditional Moroccan music and dancing at Lotus Privilege, one of the top rated restaurants in Morocco. First we take a horse right through the city. The restaurant is hidden down an alley that magically turns into the most beautiful courtyard with traditional Moroccan architecture. We are greeted by Gnawa musicians, a rich Moroccan repertoire of ancient African Islamic spiritual religious songs and rhythms. Now time for Moroccan cuisine. We try the veal tagine and fish tagine, a traditional Moroccan dish cooked in a clay pot with couscous, and dried fruit like apricots and plums. For desert, we try Moroccan bastilla, a pastry with pomegranate on top. We top it off with mint tea and Moroccan wine.
