I used the same gear and levels to get my 4th ascendancy. In the second gameplay map in crimson shores I'm using +9 minion levels, at that level storm mages basic attack is enough to clear. It's very enjoyable you can let the storm mages do the work and only cast pain offering if you want to be lazy; you will also have access to screen wide nukes and single target nukes. Gear Get as much spirit as you can and minion levels. +6 minion levels is pretty reasonable to be able to clear T16s if you use frost mages. All the other pieces you want as much defensive stats. If you center around Frost mages or Snipers just take as much AoE nodes as you can. If your DPS is lacking for clear I recommend taking rupture the soul to help out your clear.
