In 2012 Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation began filming the Die Hard 5 "A good day to Die Hard" Hollywood movie. Many scenes in the story takes place in Russia. For these scenes the production team chose places in Hungary. In the movie there is a schene when Bruce Willis (John McClane) is being chased by a combat helicopter. In real life this helicopter was from Hungarian Army. Number 335 Mil Mi-24P was one of the two Mi-24s in Hungarian Army which was still operated 2012 summer. The helicopter normally stationed in MH86 Combat Helicopter base, Szolnok. Mil Mi-24 is the feared combat helicopter in the world, comes from CCCP. It is a large helicopter gunship and attack helicopter and low-capacity troop transport with room for eight passengers. It is produced by Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant and operated since 1972 by the Soviet Air Force, and more than 30 other nations. For a long time this chopper was the fastest one in the world with 335Km/h maximum speed. Number 335 Mi-24 arrived to Budaörs airport int he morning. The plan was that Mi-24 and the camera-helicopter take off trom Budaörs airfield and fly together over Budapest in formation. The camera helicopter was an Aerospatiale AS-350B1 Ecureuil from Fly4Less Kft. with a big camera spacialised for air filming. After that the Mi-24 made combat-turns over the Danube and the city. This filming was one of the last chances to take photos and make videos about a Hungarian Mil Mi-24. 2012-ben a Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation elkezdte a Die Hard 5 ,,A good day to Die Hard" című film forgatását. A film sztoria alapján sok jelenet Oroszországban játszódik. Ezen jeleneteket magyarországi helyszíneken forgatták. Az egyik jelenetben a főhőst, John McClanet (akit Bruce Willis alakít), üldözőbe veszi egy ellenséges harcihelikopter. Ezt a helikopter a való életben a Magyar Honvédség Mil Mi-24P típusú harcihelikoptere volt. A Mi-24 típusú harcihelikopterek az MH86 Helikopterbázison, Szolnokon állomásoztak 2012 őszéig. Véleményem szerint a Mi-24 a legrettegettebb támadóhelikopter a világon. 1972-ben a Mil tervezőiroda tervei alapján épült meg a prototípus, azóta több mint 30 ország hadrendjében rendszeresítették mint támadó helikopter. A Mi-24 földi és légi célpontokra is képes csapást mérni, de 8 deszantos katona célterületre való kijuttatására is alkalmas. Hosszú ideig ez a gép tartotta a helikopteres sebességrekordot 335Km/órás végsebességével. A 335-ös oldalszámú Mi-24P korán reggel érkezett meg a forgatás egyik helyszínére, a Budaörsi Repülőtérre. Hosszas egyeztetés során a stáb és a gép személyzete, valamint a kamerás helikopter csapata megvitatták a teendőket és már indulhattak is a gépek. A terv úgy szólt, hogy a Hind a Kelenföldi Hőerőmű vonalában repül rá a Dunára és kb a Parlament előtt harci fordulókat fog végrehajtani. Hajtóműindítás közben megcsodálhattuk a Mi-24 táncát, amit a rotorlapátok felpörgetése közben lejteni szokott.    • "Die Hard 5" enemy gunship scene filming o...   A gépek felszálltak és géppárba rendeződve déli irányból repültek be a város fölé, eztán több áthúzást csináltak. Eztán a Mi-24 harci fordulózni kezdett a Duna felett.
