First of all, thanks a lot for the response on the previous iPhone video! I am glad it resonated with so many people. I got my iPhone 16 Pro and went straight to the beach yesterday. It was another misty, moody gorgeous Northern California beach day. Such a pleasure to film and edit. Wanted to share this quick edit with you thinking some people would like to see how the footage looks like with some color grading. Again, I know iPhone is still not there yet. It has a long way to go to replace my professional cameras but, it is pretty good for what it is. I am so happy with the results and I am still learning how to expose it properly with Black Magic Camera app. This time I started with my SanDisk SSD but since I had a lot memory available I just kept on recording internally. So compact yet capable! Just as a side note. I think Blackmagic Camera app has a bug on stabilization for super wide and telephoto lenses. So, I switched the Image Stabilization off. I am sure there is a firmware update coming up. I used my regular LeoFoto Tripod and Moment Magnetic tripod holder. It is a genius design. Adding all the gear I used below for people who are interested. I was planning to use my DJI Mic 2 for audio but sadly I dropped it in the Ocean :( It is not working anymore. I had to rely on iPhone 16 Pro mics for the entire video. Finding audio without some wind noise was pretty challenging. Thanks a lot for watching! Let me know what you think!
