I recently went on my first paid guided hunt , with Hunt NQ , based at Fairview Station , past Laura. It was a bit risky booking this late in the year , we were there in the first week of December and they had already had 200mm of rain in the previous 2 weeks. this meant that the pigs were very hard to find , as they had been hunted on the permanent water sources all year , so were reluctant to come in to them when they have other water lying around. Apart from the hunting being tough due to weather , they are a good bunch of blokes , with a nice setup , which will be even better in the coming year , with a designated hunting lodge being set up. They have nearly a million acres of land to hunt , with a huge population of pigs and dingoes , and their prices are the cheapest I have seen in Australia. If you're interested go to huntnq.com
