This weekend was full-on nerd mode from start to finish. I started the day at a toy swap meet at a local shop with a friend, then headed out to a Roseville toy collecting convention, where I found some cool pieces and picked up a few Pokémon cards. From there, we hit a massive TCG swap meet loaded with vendors and Pokémon sellers, where I ran into another buddy and saw just how wild the card scene can get. Things took a turn when my friend tried selling cards at a shop that only offered 30% of their value, which sparked a real conversation about card shops, trade ethics, and knowing what your collection is worth. To end the weekend on a high note, we wrapped things up in the Folsom area at a smaller, community-based TCG event.
