Walking around with a Leica SL (Video + Photo)

This is a learning curve for me using the SL. Couple things I've observed: 1. the EVF is fantastic, the success rate of using the lens at F0.95 is higher compared to when I was using the MM. 2. it's so nice to have that grip, I feel very confident holding the camera with a larger lens 3. it's better not to switch back and forth between video and photo mode. If it's a video day, then use the SL as a camcorder only 4. the SLR Magic is really a good lens, it's a shame the M-mount version is no longer available, not that I would use the lens on any rangefinders. 5. Graycard of the SL is really useful when setting the white balance. 6. battery life is acceptable, but it's not as durable as the Panasonic GH4 7. the screen at the back is really excellent, but it would be 100 times more useful if it could be rotated around. 8. the strap attached to the SL is called The Xtra, visit www.barton1972.com to learn more about it :)
