47th Floor Room Tour at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis! (1 King Bed, City View, Concierge Level)

Recorded on August 8, 2025. For the first time ever on this channel, I'm uploading something that is not related to elevators. I would normally put content such as hotel room tours on my other channel, ‪@ElementExcursions-gz1mj‬, but since this building is tied so closely to the elevator community (as the place that inspired the first hobby-related elevator videos), I've decided to upload it here instead. I also have a full hotel tour and and several videos about the elevators here on the way. Floors 42-47 are concierge level floors--on weekends, the rates for these rooms are significantly higher (often $1,000/night or higher). I was here on a Friday, and as it turns out, the concierge lounge is not open on Fridays or Saturdays. So, to anyone considering booking a concierge level room wanting to access the lounge--DO NOT book one on Friday or Saturday nights. On weeknights, the rates are significantly less expensive, and the concierge lounge is open then. That being said, I did not select a concierge level room when I made my booking--only a 1 king bed room with a city view, with a request for the highest available floor.
