Shooting in front of Serbian parliament was "terrorist act," President Vucic says

Shots were fired outside Serbia's parliament building in Belgrade on Wednesday, resulting in one serious injury. One individual was detained and police secured the scene, according to officials. “Today, in front of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Vladan Andjelkovic, born in 1955 in Belgrade, with registered residence in the Stari Grad municipality, committed a heinous terrorist attack against people and property," said Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. A member of the Party of Freedom and Justice, Marinika Tepic, said that she was in the parliament hall when her assistant informed her she had heard gunshots and that a fire broke out shortly after.  The shooting took place in a park between the parliament and Vucic's office, where his supporters have erected tents to block the protesters from approaching the buildings.
