I vanished within its monstrous domain, A tundra of silence, where horrors remain. They call it Lucidity, lord of the sickened trees No God, but a devil's mask, riding a bone-chill breeze. words falter at its shape; Reason flees my brain. To describe its features would court the insane. a torso alone, limbless and grotesque, A shattered moose skull, its crown, deaths grim burlesque. Its body is twisted from the blackened limbs of trees. it drifts on the wind, omen carried with ease. it commands the branches, makes them writhe at its will, Shaping weapons from wood, a hunger yearning to kill. it speaks where God's can only brood in silence, Seeding your mind with hope, a venomous guidance. I should know, for once, I was a fool, Twisted and hollowed, fashioned into a tool. Now I am trapped, my thoughts no longer my own, My soul is entombed in a cold, unending black hole.
