Menage a Trois

Nowadays technology is largely available to everyone, so we use it. In a world were we link so much our existences to medias, many questions rise about the production and use of “private” images. If, as according to Richard Sennet, “the tyranny of intimacy,” has killed social life, what happens to us when we put intimacy in a public place? To which extend are we aware of what do we show? This film is an experiment. Four couples accepted the challenge of filming their partner in the attempt of giving an intimate portrait of each other. When they watched the result, some of them didn’t recognize themselves at all and rebelled against the images, others accepted the estrangement they received. What about the external public, what do it see?
