Thanks for growing with us! Today we are installing a complete front garden makeover. Our friends have recently renovated their front porch of their home in in Saratoga Springs, NY and asked us to design a garden that would be low maintenance and give four seasons of interest. Eric put together a collection of shrubs that would mix colors, textures, and bloom times to make this front yard have instant curb appeal. We are sharing the process from start to finish. The first step in the process is to determine what kind of light situation we are working with. In this case there is morning sun and afternoon sun, providing a nice amount of part sun. We also know that the house is rented in the summer so we want to make sure the garden looks good in the other three seasons so our friends can enjoy it.
