After our time in Istanbul, we arrived in Izmir - Turkey's third largest city. And to be honest, the city was supposed to be more of a stopover than a tourist destination on our itinerary, but we were enchanted, what a beautiful city! Much of it is facing the sea, which guarantees incredible views, and its super organized and renewed waterfront is definitely the cherry on top. Talking about food and shopping, Izmir's bazaar leaves nothing to be desired! For history lovers, the city is very ancient and has ruins of its Roman Agora that far exceeded our expectations.
