I've had to disable comments. 75% of my channel comments are from this video and they are ignorant and cruel. If you have a comment and it falls under one of the categories below, don't worry your pretty little head, I've already got the message from someone else. But first - To anyone out there who is genuinely struggling and found success with the Fum: That is WONDERFUL. Your experience matters. What worked for you cannot be denied. By me or anyone else. Here they are, the most frequent comments, answered: You don't even smoke, you're not allowed an opinion on this. Actually, I am allowed an opinion on this. Every single person in the world is allowed to have an opinion on every single thing in existence (and non-existence). I could have lied in this video, I could have told you I was a smoker and avoided all this hate. But I was honest. I bought the device to help me with another addiction. An addiction that I eventually overcame without using replacements, without giving my hard earned money to another corporation. I'm sharing my addiction experience with you, in case it helps you with your addiction. I'm sorry if our addictions aren't the same, but the same principles apply. You DON'T need to spend money to beat your addiction, and honestly... it baffles me how many of you are so quick to defend Fum, do you work there or something? Seriously, why this level of defensiveness? Did you already buy one and you think that bringing me down for thinking Fum is absolutely ridiculous will somehow justify your purchase? It's stupid that you bought Fum to help you quit drinking Is it really? Do you know what it's like to be consuming 50-60 drinks a week and not be able to stop? To be spending all that money to pour poison into your body because you can't handle being alive? To have tried literally everything that you feel completely out of options? And if there's no more options well... there's always the rope. If you don't know what that's like, then I totally get why you think buying a Fum to stop drinking is weird. So you just buy anything in an ad? In a well marketed, visually appealing ad? Yes. It's a problem. Quite a common problem actually. It's a pervasive issue in our society and culture: excessive consumption driven by psychological tactics to get you to buy, buy, buy. It's why I no longer use Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, most social media. I just wanted to see my friends photos and videos and instead I'm buying another sweater at 11PM from my bed?! If you don't have this problem, then I'm truly happy for you. But a lot of people do. Shockingly, not every human in the world experiences life the same way you do. I'm done with these repetitive, ignorant, mean, and weirdly capitalist comments showing up in my notifications.
