The youth in Nepal has erupted in anger. Capital Kathmandu is under siege. In the line of fire is the KP Sharma Oli government. And it’s being called the “Gen Z Revolution”. At least 16 people were killed today and more than a hundred wounded in violent clashes, as angry protesters, mostly young people, took to the streets and even stormed the country’s Parliament. One of the Parliament gates was set on fire. The immediate trigger for the protests was the Nepal government’s decision to ban several social media platforms. But the young people on the streets say they are also raising a banner of revolt against widespread corruption in Nepal. #nepalprotestlive #nepalgenzprotest #nepalnewslive #nepalsocialmediacrisis #worldnews #toilive Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
