Another fantastic day in Penang, Malaysia 🇲🇾 We took a private boat for a short ride from the PARKROYAL Penang Resort at Batu Ferringhi to the incredible Monkey Beach. Along the way we stopped for a look around and a spot of fishing before we arrived at Monkey Beach in the Penang National Park. When we arrived we soon realised that there are 100's of monkeys. You will not be disappointed if you are after a little monkey interaction. We spent the day with an awesome family who cooked us a delicious BBQ with fish, prawns, satays and fried rice. We had the authentic local Malay style fish wrapped in banana leaf, with sambal and butter, cooked over the hot coals. For a last minute snack they cooked us freshwater chestnut chips😋 Walking along the beach we said hi to the locals collecting pippis fresh on the beach to take home to make assam laksa!
