Copper Prices Up 2.7% Overnight; Precious Metals Shine; Brent Crude At 3-Week High | CNBC TV18

Gold prices climbed, driven by safe-haven demand amid uncertainty surrounding U.S. President Donald Trump's upcoming tariff plans, which could potentially fuel inflation. Silver prices too gained in trade. Copper prices witnessed a gain of 2.7% overnight. Meanwhile, oil prices climbed today in early Asia trade on concerns of tighter supplies after U.S. President Donald Trump threatened tariffs against countries importing oil and gas from Venezuela and after U.S. crude inventories fell more than expected.
