So I decided to grab the camera and see what angles, lighting etc. might work when I do decide to film it, and to be honest, I ended up with quite a bit of footage of the wash. So I decided to keep going and film the whole cycle, as a lot of you have been asking when the first video will be up. I have to say (especially as an Apple guy) I didn't expect to like it as much as I do. It's early days yet, but first impressions are really good. The Cotton 40oC cycle is 1h 04 // Cotton 60 is 1hr 21 // and Cotton 90 1h 23, for a standard load, quicker if you wash a smaller load, as I did here. The only cycles on the machine anywhere near 2 hours are Cotton Eco and Synthetics. Until I use the synthetics cycle I can only assume this is because the back plate isn't used in this cycle. Super Eco is now 1h10 (was 1h57), Super speed 39 min (was 59min), Darks 52 min (was 1h15), Outdoor 45 min (was 1h25). It seems to plough through the cycle quickly.... starting the eco bubble generator straight after filling, then quickly distributing, heating and starting quick drive action. All interm spins and final spins now include the use of the fresh water spray, (on the all the cycles I've used so far) and the rinses are quick, rinsing for 1-2 minutes after it's finished filling. Look out for the spray at 12:23 17:07 and 20:29 Also interestingly the machine rotates the back plate slowly when its spinning at 800rpm or above. You'll see this at 19:47 The machine doesn't seem to spend long balancing and is incredibly stable when spinning.
