A GREEN SEA TURTLE Nest | A first for our turtle team!

Join us out in the field as we conduct a green sea turtle nest inventory! This is the first green nest that we have documented on this beach and our staff and volunteers were excited when we found a green hatchling still down below in the nest, stuck in the roots. We were able to get this hatchling on its way and to the ocean. All of the sea turtle activities are conducted through a permit granted by state and federal agencies. MTP545. We are permitted to conduct these activities through state and federal permits.
