STEPPING INTO GOD’S OVERFLOW Sis. Elise Dimaano | February 25, 2026 🌿 Sermon Overview In this powerful and faith-stirring message, Sis. The size of the promise determines the intensity of the preparation. We want: Big promises Small problems But God works differently. Problems don’t cancel the promise. Problems prepare us for it. 🌍 ABRAHAM: A GLOBAL PROMISE, A GREAT TEST (Genesis 12:1–3) God gave Abraham a promise that was not personal—but global. Through him, all nations would be blessed. But that promise came with: Leaving everything familiar Walking into the unknown Offering Isaac, the son of promise Great promises come with great tests. Not to destroy us—but to strengthen us. ⏳ HOW YOU RESPOND TO A PROBLEM DETERMINES HOW LONG YOU STAY IN IT Israel stayed in the wilderness 40 years because of: Complaining Disobedience Fear Slave mentality Jesus stayed in the wilderness 40 days because of: Obedience Faith Submission to the Spirit The wilderness can be: A detour Or a doorway Your response decides which one it becomes. 🩸 DELIVERANCE THEN & NOW Just as the blood of the lamb on the doorposts brought freedom in Egypt, the blood of Jesus brings freedom today. We are no longer owned by darkness We are no longer slaves The enemy has no authority over a life covered by the blood It took one day to get Israel out of Egypt, but 40 years to get Egypt out of Israel. Chains were broken—but mindsets remained. 🔥 TESTIMONY: FAITH IN THE PROBLEM Sis. Elise shared her personal testimony of being diagnosed with cancer. It was shocking. It was serious. It was painful. But God had already prepared: The provision The timing The healing The answer existed even before the problem appeared. After surgery and radiation, she was declared cancer-free.
