This was our toughest vet visit yet. I have worked hard on desensitising Chase so that vet visits can be a positive experience, however nothing prepared us for this. Chase needed to have a blood test to continue his pain relief medication and I was only given 1 week to prepare. We decided our only option was restraint and sedation and to try and get it over and done with as quickly as possible to limit his stress.
