This video shows how to make the frame using interlocking square notches secured with the square lash. It also shows how to make your pack straps using a simple rope to secure it to the frame with either a larks head knot or a prusik knot. This can be tied around the waist with a square knot or a quick release system that I learned as an Army Ranger so that you can get your gear off quickly.
