In this video, I wanted to look at Anthony Miller, wide receiver from Memphis. In my opinion, he’s the ideal slot receiver for any NFL offense. Miller is a really good route runner and he has really good balance to bring in balls that are thrown outside his frame. My one concern with him is that he has an issue with concentration drops on easy passes. He dropped 21 passes over the last two years. Even considering the high number of targets that were thrown his direction, that’s still not a good number. Based on all these factors, I still gave him an early second round grade. Pro Comparison: Jarvis Landry - Both can line up in the slot and outside and both are really good route runners. Landry is known for his bubble screens and hitch routes by the line of scrimmage, but I think they can be downfield threats as well using their footwork and quickness to get open.
