How to medicate a "lockjaw" chameleon (oral liquid meds)

When a chameleon isn't feeling well they will not usually open their mouths even in defensive displays. IF they're really sick or simply have been to the vets then it's not usual for them to "shut down" from being handled and clam up. IF you have to medicate or hydrate a sick animal with lockjaw this is what I've found to work well to get the oral liquid meds into them. Just remember that they don't understand what you're attempting to do, usually they all get the idea after the first few days and start to cooperate like a 3 year old and their yucky medicine might.
