Thousands of children and parents have benefited from the Early Head Start Program at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Here, moms explain why the program has been so important to them. Early Head Start at CHOP helps parents and families build skills to enhance their children's growth and development during the first three years of life. Through home visits and group activities, families learn about and are supported in a variety of areas, including infant care, nutrition, and developmental goals or childhood milestones such as walking and talking.
