According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 10:00 p.m. on January 21, 2026, in the 10850 block of Jamacha Boulevard. Investigators say the elderly driver crashed into three parked cars. The man reportedly told medics that he closed his eyes momentarily and, when he opened them, realized he had struck the vehicles. The driver also told first responders he had been celebrating his birthday prior to the crash. Both the driver and his wife were transported to an area hospital.
