Check out our new Guide to Van Life: http://goo.gl/dnhZQq Marta and Alex spent an entire Canadian Winter living in their RV to save money (rent-free living) for an epic summer road trip exploring BC in their camper van. They paid a small fee for parking & power, they showered at the local climbing gym, and they used a portable water tank and basin for washing dishes. They also had solar panels for extra power. They kept the RV from freezing during the day with an electric heater running on low, and when they came home from work they turned on the RV's propane furnace to bump up the heat. Once spring arrived, they converted a Ford Econoline cargo van into a camper van with a cozy interior complete with wood ceiling, mini kitchen, soft storage and cork flooring. They toured BC backpacking, hiking, cycling and climbing - all while living in a van. We definitely crossed paths with them this past Summer, but didn't manage to meet in person so we're glad they were able to share this footage with us (thanks guys!). Marta & Alex posted videos and blogged about their RV and van life adventures (including a sweet camper van tour video!) at Wanderlust Vanlife: http://www.wanderlustvanlife.com / @wanderlustvanlife Thanks for watching!
