The defence counsel suggests that there is a political motive behind his arrest, but the judge has insisted that the trial must not be turned into a political debate. David Calder (the "long-haired leftie" in question, perhaps best known to television audiences for "Widows" and "Star Cops") stars as the defendant. The wonderfully ubiquitous Ron Pember and John Comer (best known perhaps from "Last of the Summer Wine") also star.
