Video ausserhalb von Wien führt uns wiederum nach Graz. Diesmal starten wir am Fuss des Schlossbergs und begeben und zum berühmten Grazer Uhrturm. Hier gibt es 2 Möglichkeiten den Berg zu erklimmen: die sportlich Motivierten nehmen den sogenannten Kriegssteig und die zirka 260 Stufen und erreichen den Schlossberg nach zirka 20 Minuten. Der gläserne Schloßberglift bringt bis zu 15 Personen in einer Kabine (2 davon sind vorhanden) innerhalb 90 Sekunden auf den Schloßberg etwas oberhalb des Uhrturms. Er wurde im Jahr 2000 durch Nutzung der vorhandenen Stollen behindertengerecht angelegt. Der weithin sichtbare Uhrturm ist das Wahrzeichen von Graz. Erstmalig genannt wurde der Uhrturm als Teil der Festungsanlage am Schloßberg um 1265. Im Jahr 1560 bekam der Grazer Uhrturm seine heutige Form. Feuerwächter konnten in früheren Zeiten das Geschehen und etwaige Feuer in Graz sehen. Bei Brandalarm arnte die Feuerglocke von 1645 je nach Anzahl der Schläge vor Feuer in den verschiedenen Grazer Bezirken. Im Uhrturm befindet sich die älteste Glocke von Graz aus dem Jahr 1382 – die Stundenglocke, die zu jeder vollen Stunde schlägt. Viel Spass beim Spaziergang ! Graz ist mit 127 Quadratkilometer und 292.630 Einwohnern die zweitgrößte Stadt Österreichs, besteht aus 17 Bezirken und wurde urkundlich erstmals im Jahre 1140 erwähnt. There are 2 ways to climb the mountain: the sporty ones take the so-called Kriegssteig and the around 260 steps and reach the Schlossberg after around 20 minutes. In the clock tower is the oldest bell in Graz from the year 1382 - the hour bell that strikes on the hour.
