Beautiful footage flying over the stunning islands in the Hebrides Islands located off the West Coast of Scotland. Vatersay, 0:10 Barra, 0:46 Eriskay 1:21 Tiree 2:00 Filmed entirely in 4K using a Dji Phantom 4 drone. There are amazing beaches, wildlife and scenery to be found on all the four islands. Barra has the only beach airport anywhere in the world which is used for scheduled airline services –it is just over an hour’s flight from Glasgow. Eriskay is also home to Whisky Galore – the famous book & film is based on the facts of the 1941 shipwreck of the SS Politician and the salvage of 240,000 bottles of whisky by the islanders. It is also famous the white Eriskay Ponies and FIFA recognised it’s bumpy football pitch as one of the most unique places to play the game. Tiree has long pristine beaches and the most sunshine hours in the UK and at the same time is also Britain’s windiest place. Vatersay is a beautiful little island at the southern tip of the Outer Hebrides. It is only 3 miles long, with just over 90 people living there and since 1991 it has been connected to the Isle of Barra by a causeway. Music is Air Fàir an Là (feat.
