Our first time exploring THE LAKE DISTRICT!! We’ve wanted to go to The Lake District for so long, and today we finally get to. We’re heading off to go camping and celebrate Jori’s birthday for a few days in The Lake District in Cumbria in the North of England. Today we drive from Retford to The Lake District and set up camp at Seatoller Farm. We camp beside a beautiful stream, beneath some amazing mountains, and surround by sheep and other wildlife. We’re on the lookout for a Red Squirrel too as we’ve never seen one and they are pretty rare. We have a bit of a sit down chat whilst cooking lunch and we show you our new camping equipment. We go through our Aldi Camping Haul for under £100 that we got in the Aldi Special Buys. We spend the afternoon driving through some amazing areas in The Lake District. We drive down a narrow, winding road through a slate mining area, and stop to look at the mountains and the bubbling creek beside the road. Before heading back to the farm and our campsite we drive the length of the stunning Buttermere Lake and down into the village of Buttermere. It's a pretty huge workload but we love reliving our adventures as we edit and publish our travel vlogs. We may not be the quintessential digital nomad travel couple, but we love this adventure we're on! We love seeing new places, experiencing new cultures, and tasting food from all over the world!
