As someone who's spent countless hours on the slopes, I'm always happy to share my thoughts and experiences. Here are some responses to your questions: 1. "What's the best time of year to ski in Utah?" "Well, that depends on what you're looking for! If you're all about fresh powder, you'll want to hit the slopes in mid-to-late December or January. But if you're more interested in catching some rays while skiing, then March and April are your best bets." 2. "What's your favorite ski resort in Utah?" "Ah, that's a tough one. I've had some amazing days at Alta and Snowbird. The terrain there is unbeatable, and the snow is always top-notch. But I also love the laid-back vibe at Solitude and Brighton." 3. "Do you have any tips for skiing with kids in Utah?" "Absolutely! My advice would be to make sure your kids are properly dressed for the weather (layers are key!), and to start them off on some easier runs so they can build their confidence. And don't forget to take breaks and warm up with some hot cocoa!" 4. "What's your go-to après-ski spot in Utah?" "Ha, well, you can usually find me with a cold beer at the mountain's base. But I also love hitting some of the local bars and restaurants in Park City or Salt Lake City. High West Distillery is always a good time." 5. "Who's your favorite skiing buddy?" "Oh, that's an easy one. I ski with Frankie Z. He's been my go-to ski buddy for years. I try to always ski anywhere off of the famously nostalgic Route 66 from California to New Mexico... I mostly ski at the Arizona Snowbowl, Purgatory Colorado by Durango, Vail, Keystone, Brian Head Utah, or Sunrise Park Resort, the great Lee Canyon next to Las Vegas when it's ski season, Mammoth Mountain, and Heavenly in South Lake Tahoe.
