Hiring an electrician to connect electricity in a shed can be expensive! I got quotes from electricians from $7,500 to $8,500. Instead, I decided to reach out to my electrical wiring instructor (who is a master electrician) from a residential wiring class I took a couple years ago and he offered some "professional hand holding" while he advised me on how to do my own interior wiring. I hired him to do the sub panel connections. The electrical is 95% done! And guess what? I've got power, I've got lights! :) I never thought I would be able to tackle my own electrical wiring in my "she shed" but with his oversight, I did it and learned a LOT along the way! Here's how the project went! !!!!! (NOTE: ALWAYS CONSULT A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN BEFORE ATTEMPTING ELECTRICAL PROJECTS IN YOUR HOME OR SHED) !!!!
