Tuvan throat singing, the main technique of which is known as khoomei, includes a type of overtone singing practiced by people in Tuva, Mongolia, and Siberia. In 2009, it was included in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity of UNESCO. There are some Inuit men who do a form of throat singing – they imitate animal sounds while they're hunting and shamans chant. But women and children throat sang in the way we hear it today to keep their minds busy and their bodies warm during frigid weather. These singers may perform alone or in groups. Khoomei is practiced today among Mongolian communities in several countries, especially in Inner Mongolia in northern China, western Mongolia and the Tuva Republic of Russia. Eight centuries ago, Mongol clans under Genghis Khan controlled the steppes stretching from Beijing to Poland. One of their legacies is throat singing, also performed by people in Tuva, a Russian republic bordering Mongolia and Siberia. Melodies and Harmonies from beyond the Heavens. Music for the body, mind and soul, with the purpose to fill your life with happiness, positivity and abundance. Using the desired frequency and tuning my instruments appropriately, I compose melodies using the sine wave of the healing solfeggio frequencies to create these melodies and harmonies. This music can be used for meditation, affirmations and to sleep, Do not listen to this while driving or operating any kind of machines. Sources Images from Pixabay.
