First try on this board at Alton Water park in vvery low wind I have previously been riding a hipe pro 5ft 3" board for stronger wind days and on the ocean. The Cruzader is 7ft 11" and about 22" wide - i actually find it a bit easier to get on than the hipe pro with the extra length and volume. Took me about 30 mins to find my balance and foot placement and then got going and up on foil (not quite full gybing yet). Im using a curve xxl front wing, titanium stab, alu 85 mast and 43 curve stab (thats all i have at the moment.) Wind was very light and non existant at times. im using a gong superpower 7.5mtr wing. The board does get moving early and quite fast in low wind. Take off is nice and smooth. The board doesnt feel 7ft 11 long when up on foil - it feels like a normal length board. It swings side to side more but that is probably my input until i get used to it. For an inflatable (like the hipe pro) it feels very solid - i pump to max 20psi. Seems to be really well made and great design - love it. Im waiting on a HM carbon mast and sirus foil and stab to really see what this thing can do in low wind :-) No regrets getting this board - i could end up using this the most I think.
