👉✅ Cisco's Vision for AI 👉 To know more, follow: / @siliconvalleytechtalks 👉🌍We had the pleasure of interviewing Anand Raghavan during the latest episode of Silicon Valley Tech Talks. Anand is the Vice President of Products, AI at Cisco, where he leads world-class teams in building and marketing innovative AI products. In our chat with Anand, we focused on learning about Cisco's vision for AI and some of the new AI product announcements. We also learned in detail about the essential factors that enterprises must consider as they accelerate the adoption of AI agents. Here is the summary of the discussion with Anand: (1) Cisco's vision for AI is to enhance customer experience across its entire product portfolio by embedding AI from silicon to the user interface. In networking, collaboration, and security products, AI already powers detection, remediation, and device-level intelligence. (2) Cisco's new initiatives, such as AI Canvas, aim to transform how humans and agents interact. With AI Canvas, Cisco is addressing challenges such as cross-domain troubleshooting, domain-specific small models, and multi-agent collaboration through a unified data fabric, orchestration layers, and intent-driven reasoning traces. (3) Enterprises must clearly define what constitutes an agent, ensure identity, authorization, and registry controls, and design intuitive user experiences. (4) Security and identity remain central, with Cisco emphasizing the importance of proper agent definitions, registries, authorization, and user experience design. To accelerate the safe adoption of AI, Cisco introduced AI Defense, focusing on AI supply chain security, model visibility, automated penetration testing, and guardrails for privacy, toxicity, and prompt-injection protection.
