Introducing the newest pattern from OKSew, The Basic Boxy Bag! In this video I will take you through the construction of this Boxy Bag from start to finish, and give you my tips as we go. This fully lined boxy bag pattern measures approximately 7” wide, 3.75” tall and 3” deep (19 cm wide, 9.5 cm tall, 7.6 cm deep). It is turned through a hole in the lining with no need to bind, and includes techniques to reduce sagging inside your finished pouch. General fabric requirements for this pattern are: Exterior - (1) piece with starting size 12” wide x 15” tall Lining - (1) piece with starting size 12” wide x 15” tall Interfacing - (2) pieces with starting size 12” wide x 15” tall plus (2) pieces 6”x7”, and (2) pieces 6.25”x7” Fusible Fleece - (1) piece with starting size 7” x 14” Zipper by the yard (Size 5 recommended) - 13”, plus one or two pulls Metric measurements for fabric requirements are given in the free downloadable PDF Recommended materials: Quilting cotton or cotton canvas for exterior and lining, light weight fusible woven interfacing (eg. SF101, profuse, geeky fuse, EB fuse etc), fusible fleece for stabilizer. Other materials may be used but final results may vary.
