Only Pokemon with a Dark-typing can be used in battle. 2. I can only try to catch the first Dark-type that I encounter in each area. 3. If a Pokemon faints it cannot be used for the remainder of the run. 4. If my whole team faints then the attempt is over. 5. No items in battle (held items are okay). 6. Set mode enabled. 7. I cannot over-level beyond the highest level of the next gym. 8. No duplicate species can be caught. Encounters for species that I have caught previously are re-rolled. 9.
