Liege Airport is always worth a visit if you are interested in big cargo planes. The first Boeing 747 shown in this video is operated by Astral Aviation, a company from africa which mainly operates cargo flights in africa with Boeing 727` s and Boeing 767-200`s. They also leased two Boeing 747` s from Air Atlanta Icelandic to connect their african cargo network with Europe. TF-AMM can be seen using almost the entire runway while rocketing out of runway 22L at Liege. A few minutes later a MD11 Freighter of Fedex arrived from Indeanapolis. The regular flights operates a few times a week and usually continues to Dubai the following day. The MD11 is one of the most beautiful airplanes ever and it` s always a pleasure to see one of these aircrafts. Sadly Western Global stopped its operations out of Liege. They used to operate some MD11` s out of Liege aswell. Also note the vortex effect of the Airbus A330-200 Freighter. CMA CGM is a new cargo airline which is based in Liege.
