It's January, a new year, and we are trying something new, something I’ve been wanting to do for a while: camping alone every month for a year. I think this is something many people who enjoy the outdoors want to try but haven’t. Being alone in the wilderness is different from camping with others and gives a different perspective on the outdoors. I’ve been on quite a few adventures before, but this is my first time camping completely alone. Follow along as I try to do this every month this year, and see how the experience develops, what challenges come up, and how it feels to spend extended time alone in nature.
