MUTLAQ JASSER MUTLAQ FARIS ALJASSER Is a Kuwaiti Nationality, and the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at the Faculty of Islamic Law (Sharia) and Islamic Studies at Kuwait University (Since 2018) He worked as  a Shari’a Controller in the Sharia Supervisory Board at the Kuwait Finance House from (2005-2010) as well as many other posts related to Islamic Law He Obtained PhD in Islamic economics, a thesis entitled: “The Theory of Changing Fatwas and Its Applications in the Jurisprudence of Islamic Banking”, from Yarmouk University – Jordan (Department of Economics and Islamic Banks), 2014. He Obtained master’s degree in Islamic law (Sharia), a thesis entitled: “Lease instruments and its provisions in Islamic Jurisprudence, a comparative study to Islamic economics” from Cairo University – Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, with GPA: Excellent, 2008. HeObtained Bachelor’s degree in Islamic law (Sharia) from the Faculty of Islamic Law (Sharia) and Islamic Studies at Kuwait University, with GPA: Excellent with honors in 2005. He Obtained the certificate of of Certified Shari’a Controller the Accounting & Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
