I was watching a cheese making video from the Wranglerstar Channel (Mrs. Wranglerstar-lemon cheese) and decided to try out a variation of the recipe. I liked her recipe for cheese because it's simple and only requires basic ingredients (not specialized cheese making ingredients. Here are my ingredients… 1 gallon milk (non homogenized, non pasteurized) 1/2 cup lemon juice 2 teaspoons sea salt 2 cloves of homegrown garlic sprinkle of dried basil lemon pepper to taste tools-towel, pot, bowl, sieve, slotted spoon, cheese thermometer, twine(or fishing line) & twist tie It was delicious and we devoured it! We had seconds and thirds until our tummies were stuffed. I encourage you to try it and I wish we would have tried cheese making a long time ago! Sometimes, with homesteading/cooking, I get intimidated, but after I do it, I realize how simple it was. Be encouraged!! Old food preparation ways are different for our culture of fast food & instant gratification, but most of the time they are pretty easy!
