This is a nail biting elephant fight which lasted for 3 days inside a forest. Fights among male elephants are common during their musth season. But in here both fighters are female elephants. Experts explained that it's common for male elephants to fight but rare for females to do so. These two female elephants may have been trying to establish their authority among the herd by acting in this way. May they are trying to gain the possession of particular male elephant. This remains as another unrevealed secret in the dark forests. During the course of the scuffle, the two females bit each other’s trunks, tugged at each other and one even gave the other a direct kick. These fights can get brutal to the point that sometimes the defeated elephants succumb to their injuries. After 3 days of intense battle one elephant retreated and left the forest.
