In this conversation we explore a simple but important question: What if we redesigned how value circulates within local communities? The Lana pilot currently being tested in Exeter looks at how economic structures could support: • regenerative agriculture • financially stable growers • sustainable local production • stronger community resilience Instead of focusing on resisting existing systems, the approach explores how new economic coordination can emerge through real trade and voluntary participation. In this session we discuss: • the core logic behind the Lana system • how the pilot works in practice • what we have learned so far • how similar models could be replicated in other communities This conversation originally took place with members of the CABI community (Community Assemblies of the British Isles). If you're interested in regenerative economies, community resilience, and new models of local value circulation, you're welcome to join the ongoing discussion.
