Today I’m glad to present you my singing of the Tuvan folk song "Ahoi". In this song the author sings about the beauty of his native land. Despite the specific sounds, there is nothing shamanic in this song. In my performance, I used all 4 vocal modes (Neutral, Curbing, Overdrive, Edge) and various effects (Vocal Breaks, Rattle, Audible Air, Laryngeal and Hammer Vibrato). 2 Effects - Vocal Breaks & Hammer Vibrato - became the foundation of decorations for this song. I use its the most, and in some places I make a combination where both effects sound at the same time. I performed this song at my graduation concert at the Complete Vocal Institute. Firstly, I thought that it would be very interesting to sing in Tuvan language in Denmark.
