PLEASE READ!!!!! Watch in HD! =] This was a super fun & easy DIY. I tried it a while back with RoseArt crayons and it DID NOT work. I suggest using Crayola, it's toxin free so it's perfectly safe for your lips. THE RESULTS: Red: I used coconut & CASTOR oil for the red. I LOVED the texture, super shiny & smooth but I didn't like the smell so I stopped using castor oil. The color was pretty pigmented but a bit sheer as well. Orchid: This was my favorite color, so bright & pretty! It showed up well in natural light but it wasn't as vibrant as it looks with the flash. I used coconut oil & vaseline for this color. Fucsia: This was the most true to color lipstick. It looked even more pigmented in person than it did in the picture with the flash. Shocking Pink: Turned out more orangish in person & was more sheer than colored. Carnation Pink: Was a VERY light pink in person. White: I made the white to act as a base for the light colors. It worked a bit but it mostly just mixed with the color to make it "pastel". Another thing I noticed with some of the colors was that they created that "white film" (except it was colored) that you sometimes get on the inside of your lips with cheap lipstick/gloss. I think it may be as a result of how much oil you add. The Red had the best texture just like a good quality lipstick/gloss. Also, I think that if your lips are lighter than mine the colors will show up more vibrantly! I know I mentioned it in the video but if you want a more glossy, soft texture after your lipstick solidifies, just put the container in the microwave (with the cap off) to melt everything back down & then add more oil, mix it up & refrigerate it again. Crayons: Walmart $5 Containers: Michaels (in the bead section/24 pack) $6 ($10 & I used a 40% off coupon) Coconut Oil: Health food store about $8 Olive Oil: Grocery store about $5 Keep up with me!
