The initial plan was to cross the English Channel via the Eurotunnel at 22:35.. However a change in plans led to us missing an earlier, unexpected departure.. The next morning, we hit the road early and drove eight hours to reach Interlaken, Switzerland which completely took our breath away! We highly recommend it for its stunning views. We went for a walk around the beautiful village of Lauterbrunnen and visited the stunning Staubbachfall Waterfall (that you can walk behind!) before returning to Interlaken. We found a car park that allowed overnight stays, so that's where we spent our second night. On Sunday evening, we had a lovely dinner out with Bec & Rich. Lauren bravely ordered the spiciest pasta imaginable, making for a memorable end to the day.. Despite a bumpy start, our trip is off to an amazing beginning.
